We ran into our Canadian friends on Miss Jazz that we met 6 weeks ago in South Carolina. We spent a fun afternoon in our dingies exploring the marinas and then had a pot luck dinner together. The boatng world is so small.......
We'veve had a nice couple of days riding our bikes around and just hanging out.

Spring Cove Marina and Resort
Many of the marinas here consider themselves resorts as they have upscale facilities and pools.
The pools are useless though as they are never heated.
We are off season. Apparently the big boating season starts the beginning of May. Lots of the marinas are realy not ready for us when we arrive and many things are closed. The good news is that the off season marinas rates are alot cheaper, we never have to worry about reservations and we always get to use the courtesy car as there is no one else needing it.
We visited The Calvert Maritime Museum which was really, really great (Bill wanted to go!)
We learned that German mines were discovered at the entrance of the Chesapeake Bay during World War11. It spurred the Navy into putting a naval mine warfare station in this area which researched and developed undrwater weapons and torpedoes.
