Washington Memorial
We have decided to spend a week at Solomons Island as it is really a great place and we get a discounted weekly rate. We drove back  into Washinton DC  with our Enterprise van.  We feel like delivery drivers!   This time we did a much better job with the Metro and had a whole different experience.  What a difference an alternate station can make!

We did the marathon, see as much as you can in one day.  We are not coming back!  Bill was a trooper as we walked 7 miles seeing it all.

We saw the Washinton, Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials, World War 11 Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Holocaust Museum and Smithsonian.
