-very narrow cobblestone streets, old wooden and spanish style buildings
-lots of art galleries, restaurants and bars, jewelry stores, popsicle and ice cream shops

-5 mph. current in river and running into marina - tough time getting into slip with the tide. The trawler next to us hit boats on all sides trying to leave.
-a tourist mecca, especially during spring break (like Mackinac Island. Mi, on steroids)
-celebrated our 34th anniversary here, went to a nice dinner, did some bar hopping
-Went to church Easter Sunday at an old 1800's Methodist church downtown

Flagler College entrance dome - in the 1800's HenryFlagler built this as a hotel, the Hotel Ponce de Leon. It was the fanciest in the east coast. He was the co-founder of Standard Oil.
