Fernanadina - Amelia Island, Fl.

 -On the Georgia/Florida Border
-8 flags have flown here since it was established in 1562 by the French.  Lots of history here....
-A cute little town with lots of shops and restaurants - like Boyne City/Charlevoix, MI.  Met some great people in the local bar who told us everything to see and do next.
-Fort Clinch and the beautiful State Park (old oak trees with spanish moss and ferns)
-I went on a long 3 hour bike ride my myself trying to find the entrance to the Ft. ClinchState Park. Fell off my bike, sprained wrist.   Bikes are not good for Hughes women!

Dolphins following our boat (for at least 20 min.).  They were doing tricks, rolling in circles, jumping repeatedly.  We've heard they like to be sung to - we were both singing  (and we never sing).

Lots of shrimp boats around here.

Fort Clinch

Sprained my wrist - operator error.  Riding my bike and  trying
to open a map at the same time in the Ft. Clinch State Park  - and fell.  Bill rode 12 miles on his bike to get me this brace.

Docked next to the working dredge at the municipal dock- a noisy 2 days!
