Little Harbor to Sea Spray Marina to Man-O-War Cay

Sea Spray Marina

The trip out of Little Harbor entrance was rocky due to the stormy Atlantic Ocean seas entering the cut through the reef right in front, and then the waves having a rebound effect off the rocky wall of the channel entrance.  Patriot, a smaller boat than us, could not make it out and had to wait for another day to do it. It is also really shallow, and we had to wait for high tide where we got  7 feet
of water to leave. "Perfect Day" handled all the rough seas wonderful, and no one got sick!
Along the way Robert threw a line in and caught what he thought was a small Wahoo.  Neither Bill nor Robert wanted to clean it so they threw it back.  It turns out it was a barracuda which around here feeds on some reef algae which will make you sick/poisoned.  So they saved Thea's and my life by throwing it back!!  That is the only fish caught from our boat this whole trip!
Sea Spray Marina on Elbow Cay is where we spent the night.
Cracker P's (a very cool place out in the middle of nowhere) had a Full Moon Party (they celebrate everything here) and all you could eat buffet that night. We couldn't get a ride there so we ended up taking the dinghy across the Sea of Abaco to go to Cracker P's.  It was a real adventure returning back at night across the Abaco channel.
We stopped at Man-O-War Cay and dingied to shore.  We spent a couple of hours shopping and looking around there,  then dingied back to our boat anchored outside the harbor mouth. While returning back  Bill noticed a dinghy with 3 people in it  that had engine problems.  We ended up towing them all the way out of  the harbor to their 2 boats.  They gave us a bottle of wine - we refused the money they offered.  Turns out they were a Cornell and a Stanford professor - small world.  It's a good thing we have that new outboard motor - 7 people and 2 dingies through rough water and worked like a charm!

Barracuda - first fish caught on the boat

Now I know what to do with  the fishing floats that I've found on the beaches
