Little Harbor
After leaving Hope Town we headed to Little Harbor 25 miles south. It is so shallow around here that water depth and tides are a huge issue. We couldn't enter the mouth of the harbor until high tide, so we anchored at a beautiful, deserted beach nearby, had a picnic onshore and waited.
Little Harbor is really remote. It reminds us of Gilligan's Island. All of the islands around here are uninhabited. Pete's pub is the only bar/restaurant and was a blast. There are no stores or gas, only a few homes. We spent 2 nights here.
-hiked all over
-saw the Blue Hole
-rum drinks
-fresh fish dinners
-beng entertained by Wellington (a local who is undescribable)
-happy hour on our boat nightly with Patriot
Little Harbor
The harbor is full of turtles - I swam around the boat with them.
Pete's Pub
We added our shirt to the others hanging from the roof at Pete's.
Little Harbor Yacht Club
Really shallow everywhere - water changes color at the drop offs
Anchored and hung out here while waiting for the tide to rise.
The Blue Hole - a bottomless pit
old abandoned lighthouse
the blow hole
