                                                        Hope Town
We left Marsh Harbor and traveled 8 miles to Hope Town on Elbow Cay.  Hope Town is a very old, tiny quaint  town.  It was Mon. night bingo at one of the local bar/restaurants-the biggest thing happening around.  We didn't play bingo but did have drinks  there and enjoyed seeing all the locals (the whole town turned up to play).  We  hiked to the lighthouse and climbed to the top of it. I even went outside on the ledge to take the aerial picture below (a big deal for me)  Every bar has their own secret recipe specialty rum drink - we've been doing the comparison taste test.

The light house at Hope Town- steam operated, the last one in the WORLD still operating.
Steam engines - bright Bahama colors even in here!
