Brewerton, NY-  The End of Leg Four of the Loop
                                                                                  6/2/2016
The Great Loop

From Savannah, Georgia to Brewerton NY, 1655 miles and 3 months.

Perfect  Day is pulled out and ready to store on the hard.  The bottom looks good and Bill is really happy.  After a week of preparation and lots of worry everything has gone fine.  This boat is amazing.  For all the wear and tear of constantly being under way day after day, and being 29 years old, the boat is holding up great.  Having a liveaboard mechanic, Bill, is invaluable.  Little things have consistently gone wrong, and Bill has fixed them all.

We are stored here at Ess Kay Marina in Brewerton, NY until we return after Heather's baby is born.  We are so excited to be first time grandparents! We spent 2 days in the water here and 2 days living up on the jackstands in the yard, climbing up and down the ladder for access.
The day after we crossed Lake Oneida a big storm hit  and knocked down trees where we had left.

There's always a bigger boat........we are the small one.......the big boat owner came to his Cornell University 50 year reunion from Florida on this boat-  (he invented a lazer out of college with his professor and then retired  early).

Woodstock was right near here

We are excited to go home.  We are tired and drained.  This last 3 months on board has been incredible and absolutely amazing.  We have seen and done so much it is hard to comprehend. It's a good thing I write it down or we would never remember it all.

After much soul searching we have decided to finish the loop.  Perfect Day will end up in Michigan where we don't want it to stay, and that is a huge problem to figure out.  But.......we just have to finish this loop after the years we have spent getting around it.

We'll be back in 6 weeks rejuvenated and ready to go again.  This best thing about this adventure is that we never know what the next day will bring.
