                                                                 Annapolis, MD
                                                                   4/19 - 4/26

We had an easy 3 hour trip fro St Michaels to Annapolis with calm, glassy water.

The water temperature is now 57 degrees, up 4 degrees in the last few days.

Annapolis is an amazing city- incredible history, restaurants, taverns, lots of marinas and the naval academy.

Our boat was  here a week. I flew home for a quick trip for five days for Heather's baby shower and other family stuff.

Bill stayed here and did lots of  much needed boat maintenance .  He even waxed the entire top of the boat! The Annapolis boat show was going on so he did have some fun.

The marina had a courtesy car here that they let Bill use all week - another Windstar!  Almost every marina in the country has had a Windstar van for their courtesy vehicle.

We really enjoyed visiting the naval museum at Annapolis. It was really something!  It was an  overwhelming feeling seeing the naval history of our nation and  learning about the lives of our great naval leaders.  One of the main purposes of the museum is for mentoring the lives of those leaders for the naval students.

a rare perfect day

Original tavern from 1750 where four signers of the Declaration of Independence hung out. The inside was beautiful and original.  We had a great happy hour there.

Talk about a narrow building!

The State Capitol of Maryland- the House Chamber.    It was the federal capitol for one  year before the federal capitol was moved to Wasingotn DC.
