The Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral

The Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral was amazing!  It made us very proud to be Americans!!!    We stayed 2 nights at the Titusville Marina and rented a car there in order to see the space center.  I had been here 30 years ago .  The visitors center is so much better now, incredible really,  with all the technology we have today ( the I-Max theaters, touch screens, simulated space launch, 3-D movies, etc.) We heard all about the future of the space program where we are planning to land on Mars (6 mo. just to get there).  It will be amazing!
There are so many manatees in the marina that if you wash your boat they flock to your boat (they like fresh water). We met up with Patriot here and had cocktails together.  It's a small world.
