Vero Beach, Fl. is where we are now. It's a great marina, but the best part is that they have free city buses that pick up at the marina and go all over. The city buses are full of boaters! We'll be here 3 nights as this is a good marina to wait out the thunderstorms that are around.
We spent some time in Fort Pierce. They have a completely new marina as it was totally destroyed by 2 hurricanes 10 years ago. In one month 2 hurricnanes hit ( both hurricane eyes hit there and lingered a long time.) It has taken all this time to rebuild. We enjoyed the awesome tiki bar.... and also the farmers market.
We were going down the intercoastal waterway when we saw Sea Fever (we traveled together on and off down the Mississippi and other rivers). We anchored and rafted together there in the ICW and had a beer. It's a small world!!

my shell collection..........it's driving Bill bananas....
each beach tends to have different types of shells
My prize shell - a King Conch - In order to get this shell Bill made a deal with the conch fisherman (without telling me). He did some work on his boat in exchange for the shell. My hero!
