                                                                    A Note from Bob

Anette and I had a fantastic time in Florida with Bill & Lori. Living the life of retirees on Perfect Day is something we both would love to do full time!  Sun, sand, water, dolphins, shells, Tiki Bars, great food , and great company. Who could ask for more. Perfect Day is a very comfortable boat that Bill handles like a dream. To watch him maneuver in tight marinas with shallow water was  awesome. When we stayed at the South Seas Resort he parallel parked between two other yachts in a very tight spot in one shot. Very impressive.

Our favorite spot on board was the aft deck. It is a great spot to sit and watch what is going on in the marina. Watching the sun go down while enjoying happy hour(which starts much earlier in the day) or grilling steaks with garlic bread and corn, it was the prime spot. A good spot to fish from or watch Manatee's and Dolphins.

We did so many fun things and saw some beautiful areas. Palm Island Marina on our first night with the Leverocks and Rum Bay restaurants. Uncles Henry's Marina on Gasparilla Island  with the Pink Elephant bar and a golf cart that almost lost a wheel and was smoking by the time we returned it. Shell and Sand Dollar beaches with more shells than you can imagine. The giant Horse Conks that looked like they were from another planet with their orange flesh. Glad we left them where we found them. Anchoring out at Cayo Costa State Park and taking the dingy to Cabbage Key for a Cheese Burger in Paradise. Staying at the South Seas Resort on Captiva Island with the water slides, Tiki Bar and tram into the village for great Mexican food and The Bubble's Cafe. Sanibel Marina on the south end of the island, Grandma's restaurant, riding bikes and a great little Tiki Bar at the Holiday Inn. The Legacy Marina right in downtown Fort Myers. The Bike Night with more motorcycles and bikers that  I've ever seen. The Ford and Edison Estates and a great Mothers Day breakfast.

This was truly a trip that will never be forgotten. Thank you for a trip of a life time.
